COVID-19 Update

Due to the current pandemic concerns, your dental appointment will look differently for the time being. Our priority is to keep both you and your family as well as our team and their family health.

We are following the most current protocols put out by the Alberta Dental Association and College. To help you prepare for your upcoming dental appointments we have created a checklist to review before your visit. We want you to continue to feel comfortable and at ease with the changes

At Home

Patients are to come alone in to the operatory unless they absolutely require assistance. Consent documents that we need completed before your appointment can be found on our website at www.youfirstdental.ca.

If you could complete these forms at home and send the documents back to us before you arrive it would be greatly appreciated and would limit your time in the waiting room.

Arrival

Any consent documents that were not completed prior to your arrival will be available at the front desk. Before seating you, we will ask you to rinse for 30 seconds with a rinsing agent and spit back into the cup.

In the chair

Once seated in the dental chair our staff will carry out your procedures. Please note that we may look a little different as well. For procedures we will be wearing gowns, masks and possibly shields but don’t worry our smiles are still underneath.

After the appointment

We will ask you to hand sanitize or wash your hands before leaving the operatory. You may then head to the front desk to complete any payment or exit forms that are required. Thank you so much for your cooperation. We look forward to taking care of you and your dental needs.
